🔥Deflationary Mechanisms

On top of PLANE having fixed supply, we’ve also incorporated deflationary mechanisms to decrease it further. These mechanisms include:

Buyback & Burn

10% of the protocol’s earnings is allocated to purchasing and burning PLANE, creating a constant upward pressure on its value.

xPLANE Redemptions

When redeeming xPLANE to PLANE, If the user opts for less than the maximum vesting period, the redemption ratio will be less than 1:1, and the remaining unclaimable PLANE will be burned. For example, if a user redeems 1000 xPLANE with the minimum 15-days vesting duration, they will receive a 1:0.5 ratio and obtain 500 PLANE, resulting in a total burn of 500 PLANE (1000 - 500).

xPLANE Deallocations

When removing staked xPLANE from a Plugin, a deallocation fee is applied. This tax may vary among contracts but is typically around 0.5%. The equivalent PLANE amount will be burned automatically.
